As a part of the environmental week activities: Natuf forum organize environmental trip to Wadi Gaza area Gaza - Natuf

Natuf forum for water and environment which is a part of Natuf association for environment and community development organized environmental trip to Wadi Gaza area on Wednesday 04/04/2018, in presence the consultant in biodiversity Ayman Dardona, the consultant in water and soil Yousser Alatrash, and 50 students and graduates of scientific and environmental colleges, in addition to the people that they are interested in this field.
This step was a part of the activities in the environmental week which was launched by Natuf forum during the past few day, within the environmental and health impact assessment resulting from Wadi Gaza pollution project, funded by GEF and UNDP Small Grants Program.
The trip aimed to develop the capacities and knowledge of the participants in environmental issues that Wadi Gaza area suffer from it.
It is worth mentioning that this project aimed to contribute to minimizing the effects of pollution of Wadi Gaza area, by providing an integrated study to assess the environmental and health impact of Wadi Gaza area pollution through a number of activities to assess the impact of pollutants on various environmental components such as: Soil, groundwater, sea water, animal habitats, plant growth, and the health of Wadi Gaza residents.
